Magnetic systems for AHEAD Implant: Optimal retention and comfort

Magnetic systems provide an advanced and reliable solution for the retention of facial prostheses in craniofacial reconstructions. Thanks to magnetic fixation, the prosthesis is held securely in place, while patients can easily and comfortably remove and reattach the epithesis. The AHEAD Implant system is compatible with both the Steco Titanmagnetics® and the Technovent® magnetic system, giving clinicians flexibility in choosing the most suitable retention solution per patient.

Steco Titanmagnetics® for strong and secure fixation

AHEAD Implant is compatible with the Titanmagnetics® system from Steco. This series offers Titanmagnetics® magnets designed for optimal retention of epitheses, inserts, and ratchet inserts. Depending on the specific treatment, one chooses the X-, K-, Z-, or T-Line, each with a specific epithesis magnet with or without retention ring and/or collar. These magnets ensure a strong and stable fixation, while the ratchet insert enables precise and easy placement of the inserts.

Technovent® Magnacap™ for flexibility and efficiency

The Technovent® magnetic system works with the specially developed AHEAD Magnacap™, which fits directly onto both the percutaneous abutment and the console abutment of the AHEAD Implant system. The program also includes various lip magnets, impression magnets, and lab analogues. Use the BioComp® double hex or the Technovent® capfit instrument for safe and efficient placement.
