The AHEAD implant is specially designed for craniofacial reconstruction and provides a stable base for epitheses. Choose either a bone-level or tissue-level implant.
The advanced HAVD coating initiates osseointegration, ensuring reliable and durable anchorage. The self-tapping tapered thread allows for minimally invasive placement, while the universal tapered connection with internal hexagon ensures maximum compatibility with secondary and tertiary components.
The percutaneous abutments of the AHEAD Implant system offer stable and long-lasting fixation for facial prostheses. Thanks to the raised platform, the skin passage is optimally maintained, promoting healthy skin management and requiring minimal maintenance. After healing, the abutment can serve as a base for a magnetic cap or bar construction, or it can be replaced with a percutaneous abutment of a different length or with a console abutment.
If the implant cannot be placed optimally for the construction, the console abutment offers a solution. It allows you to easily correct the angle and location of the connection. Choose a 30°, 60°, 90° or 110° correction. Thanks to the universal tapered connection, they are easy to combine with different retention systems, such as magnets and bar constructions, ensuring optimal fit and ease of use.
